As always the RAF Mildenhall team did a great job to give us a great Airshow, thanks. The weather on Saturday was reasonable and we left on the Sunday, so no pictures here from the Sunday.  You won't find the static shots here, we don't like them.

More than 550,000 visitors and 140 aircraft from 14 different countries descended upon RAF Mildenhall for Air Fete 2001 May 26-27, breaking the U.S. Air Force’s annual air display’s previous record attendance of just over 400,000.

Since October 16, 1934 when it officially opened, RAF Mildenhall has been at the center of aviation for the air forces of the UK and later the USA. At one time, RAF Mildenhall was one of the largest bases under the British Bomber Command.
Incredible-Adventures

There were nearly 10 hours of flying demonstrations each day, which combined with good weather, contributed to the high attendance figures.  Air Fete is put on each year to demonstrate the cooperation, professionalism and contributions modern air power lends toward peace and prosperity in Europe.
