On the 23rd of September there was a little Airshow on the South side of Barcelona in Spain. It was a nice show, short (only 4 hours) good on schedule en not as far away as in the rest of Europe, started early ended early, just before the siesta. Mmm good idea the siesta's the have in Spain. The sun gave some problems because it was right in front of us.
Are Nikon camera's and a Sony video's waterproof??? Go to the Barcelona Airshow, go close to the sea and wait for the Chinook hover pass. Cockpit towards us, beautiful Chinook ass a little lower and there it is: seawater, seawater and more seawater over us (I'll bet they had a lot of fun in the Chinook) After that you will have the answer. YES!!! complete soaring wet, thank God no damage, but it was very impressive and very noisy. No pictures of that, I had to dive away.
