As always the RIAT was a great airshow, they did it again as usual. The USAF performance was a little better than last year, but we love to see more USAF/USNavy. ( We think they aren't allowed, why not?? In Japan they show 9 F-14's in formation?!! More interest in Japan?? No problem but give us a little more, in the 80's we saw many full USAF/USNavy displays in Europe. Also the displays in the US are very poor.  USAF/USNavy show the people your still the biggest Air Power in the world. With Mr Bush as new president we hope it is getting better for the airshows in the future.) They flew the B-2 (only 1 pass), F-15 (full demo), F-117, C-141, C-17 and the B-1 only a few passes but it was very good to see. If you are looking for the static display planes pictures. Not here, sorry we don't like pics from planes on the ground. 

A few planes became an award for their performance. It's amazing the RIAT gets every year so many planes together, we think there is no better team to do an Airshow, the first SkyFlash Airshow must be organized by this RIAT team (our dream). This is with no doubt on of the best Airshows in the world, keep up this good work RIAT.  The weather was this year sunny, hazy, cloudy and warm.

RIAT thanks for a great warm Airshow weekend, must have been hard work but it was superb.

As temperatures soared into the mid-80s on the hottest weekend of the year, The Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Cottesmore, Rutland, attracted an estimated 200,000 visitors. The airshow medical center treated 220 spectators with sunburn or dehydration.
